Godaddy Hacked- Creative Beacon is Back Online
If you have tried in the last 3 hours to visit Creative Beacon, you would have found nothing here. In fact, you wouldn’t find any sites hosted by Godaddy online. Apparently Anonymous went on a hacking spree and took Godaddy out. They literally knocked them on their rear, to the point that Godaddy.com was out as well. I couldn’t even reach their home site at all.
I am not sure what they did to cause such a crash across Godaddy’s servers, but it was like my site and all of my other sites hosted by Godaddy weren’t even there. If anyone has any tips on how I can avoid this situation in the future, such as some sort of redirect or mirror of my site, or some sort of trick to fix the problem, I’m all ears.
Faithful to Godaddy
I love Godaddy’s customer support and their level of service, but I am not that happy with how much my site tends to go down. I have been working on optimizing my site lately, so that it is faster, loads faster and is just a more pleasurable experience. However, I feel that some of my work to gain more readers and followers might be in vain if my site won’t stay up. Today was well on its way to be a heavy-traffic day, but hack on Godaddy’s servers really took a toll on today’s numbers.
Hopefully you’ve beared with me and will continue to visit Creative Beacon in the future for Photoshop tips, web development tips, design tricks, tutorials, freebies, and more. The site doesn’t go down often and if you have any questions, you can always email me via the contact from on the contact page. As always, thank you for visiting Creative Beacon and rest assured that I am always doing my best to deliver the best user experience possible to all of my visitors.
