I’m sure most of you guys are on various social media sites daily. Some of you probably manage campaigns for your business. You might even be running several micro businesses, all with different social media accounts. If this is the case, then you know all about having to log into each one, type your message, copy and paste links, and then post your messages. The problem is, without some sort of management software, you have to do it live, at that time. Then when you are done, you have to log out and log into another social media account. You won’t believe how much you can save time with Hootsuite and their powerful social media management software. You can have all of your social media accounts in one place, such as multiple Twitter accounts, your Facebook business pages, LinkedIn, and Google+ pages. This is excellent, because you can compose one post, and send it out across all of your social media accounts. The awesome part about Hootsuite, is that you have so much control over where and when each post goes out. It is as simple as clicking a couple of buttons to check and uncheck social media accounts. You can also pin certain accounts to automatically be included when you compose a new message, which can easily be altered with a click.
Not only can you manage all of those accounts, but you can view customized streams on each page, meaning you can look at columns of your own personalized streams, showing things such as your schedule tweets or wall posts, news feeds from Twitter, and more. There are also apps that you can download. Some are free, and some are paid, but they allow you to add other social media and bookmarking sites as well, such as Evernote, Tumblr, and StumbleUpon.
I am so glad that I can save time with Hootsuite. Hootsuite does everything that I want, and it is extremely affordable, too. Instead of spending dozens of billable hours per month messing around with logging in, logging out, copying and pasting, you can focus on tasks that will make you money. You’ll be more productive and less stressed, and all of your social media is in one organized, easy-to-use area.
