UI Kit: Free PSD File of the Week
UI kits are excellent for creating user interfaces and creating a cohesive and seamless experience on the web. This weeks free PSD file is simply titled: “Ui Kit” by by Hüseyin Yilmaz . With subtle drop shadows, and a clean, minimal look, this UI kit is excellent for creating beautiful user interfaces. Below is an overview of this week’s free PSD file.
With a simple look, you can focus on keeping your site user-friendly instead of adding frills and extras. When it comes to user interfaces, simple is usually best. The theory “less is more” really applies, because you don’t get distracted by a bunch of bells and whistles. The inquiry form below does just that. You can name a project, send a message and create a budget range, with just a few clicks. The overall design of the buttons is flat and simple.
The contact form is similar. You type in a subject, your message, and then send the message. In reality, that is all you really need. The only thing I might add is a line for Phone number, just in case they forget to include it in the message.
The candid photo area is a nice touch, with its rounded corners. The text is centered and the font choice is a sans-serif font. The built in link “available” is a subtle, but effect way of letting you know that you can do something with the text.
Below, we have some basic buttons and sliders. The differentiation between a hover element and regular one is subtle. you just see a small dark line at the top. You also will find simple loading circles as well. You see this a lot in different apps, so they should definitely come in handy.
Below is an example of a slider, complete with tiny, simple social media buttons. The simple light and dark grey circles let you know where in the sequence of images that you are.
Below are some large social media icons, a search bar and a recent projects gauge. The gauge is a unique idea that will let clients know how far along on their project you are.
The circular gallery of client images is a nice touch. It is a nice way of displaying a small gallery that gets away from using standard square or rectangular images.
